New Students Admitted Spring 2024 - First Semester Meeting and Priority Registration

- **Intended for students in their first semester at USM.** This meeting is an opportunity to connect with new students in their first semester at USM, to answer any questions they may have, and to prepare for the Fall ‘Priority Registration’ process. Students should prepare for this meeting by creating a Wish List of potential courses.

Continuing Students - Priority Registration

- **Intended for continuing students (first year or sophomore standing) who have already completed a semester or more at USM.** These meetings are to help you review courses for next semester and prepare for registration. Students should prepare for this meeting by creating a Wish List of courses. - **Students with 53 or fewer completed credits (first-years and sophomores)** please meet with me, your ***professional advisor***, for Priority Registration. - **Students with 54 or more completed credits (juniors and seniors)** should meet with their ***faculty advisor*** for Priority Registration.
Academic Development (in-person)

Initial Appointment

Academic Development meetings are intended for students who have been placed on **Academic Probation** or **Academic Outreach** for the semester.

Check-in Meeting

**For Students Placed on Academic Probation/Academic Outreach**: A continuation of our initial Academic Development meeting, this check-in is an opportunity to further discuss goals, resources on campus, and additional success strategies.

Graduation Planning (in-person)

This meeting is to help you review your major/minor/core requirements and to help you create a path towards graduation.
